In 2016, KONE had annual net sales of EUR 8.8 billion, and at the end of the year over 52,000 employees. KONE class B shares are listed on the Nasdaq Helsinki Ltd. in Finland.

KONE Uganda Limited officially started operations in August 2014 after a successful acquisition of Marryat and Scott (Kenya) and Marryat East Africa (Uganda). Marryat East Africa was at the time the sole distributor of KONE products in East Africa since the late 1980s.

KONE has since grown to become one of the fastest growing elevator and escalator companies in East Africa. KONE Uganda currently serves over 100 clients.

We provide industry-leading elevators, escalators, and innovative solutions for maintenance and modernization. KONE Uganda manages its operations from Kampala catering for clients in Uganda, Rwanda and South Sudan.

Headed by Nicolas Alchal - Managing Director for KONE Middle East and Africa - alongside 15 business leaders, our Leadership Team ensures smooth operations, business development and support for our customers in the region.
